Jonas Brothers returning to Disney+ with new podcast

Jonas Brothers Disney+ Hey Jonas! Camp Rock Disney Channel

Disney is bringing the Jonas Brothers back to its platforms through a new licensing deal with iHeartMedia. The trio—Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas—will host an official video podcast titled ‘Hey Jonas!’, which is set to begin streaming on Disney+ and Hulu on August 14.

Unlike their previous scripted Disney Channel series, ‘JONAS’ and ‘Jonas L.A.’, this new format is unscripted and intended to offer a more personal look at the brothers' lives and careers. The podcast launch coincides with the premiere of ‘Camp Rock 3’ on Disney+ on the same day.

The ‘Camp Rock’ franchise, which launched in 2008, served as a major platform for the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. The original films followed aspiring musicians at a summer camp, with the second installment, ‘Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam’, focusing on a musical competition between rival camps.
