Jonas Mågård defeats Radek Roušal at Oktagon 93 in Brno
At the Oktagon 93 event in Brno, Danish fighter Jonas Mågård defeated Czech fighter Radek Roušal via third-round submission. The bout was highly personal, following weeks of intense trash talk that included insults directed at Roušal’s partner, Nela Slováková.
Mågård, a former two-time organization champion, secured the victory using a guillotine choke. Roušal, who entered the fight on a four-match winning streak, later suggested he may have suffered a broken hand during the first round. The loss halts Roušal’s momentum and his pursuit of a potential title fight in the featherweight division.
Other notable results from the event included Vladimír Lengál winning by first-round KO against Maurice Adorf, and Josef Hála securing a TKO victory over Radovan Úškrt in his Oktagon debut.
