Jonas Mågård favored in upcoming MMA bout against Radek Roušal

Mixed martial artist Samuel Krištofič, known as ‘Pirát’, has provided a prediction for the upcoming Oktagon fight between Radek Roušal and Jonas Mågård, scheduled for September 12 in Brno.

Krištofič views the Danish fighter Mågård as a significant favorite. He cited Mågård’s footwork, boxing, and particularly his wrestling abilities as key advantages that could trouble Roušal on the ground.

Regarding the psychological aspect of the matchup, Krištofič suggested that Mågård has won the pre-fight mental battle through effective trash talk. He noted that Roušal’s recent decision to step away from verbal confrontations suggests the provocations have ‘gotten into his head.’ While Mågård is known for using personal topics to provoke opponents, Krištofič noted the fighter uses these tactics to maintain a mental edge heading into the cage.
