Jonas Urbig secures consecutive clean sheets for Germany

Germany goalkeeper Jonas Urbig has recorded clean sheets in his first two international appearances, following recent matches against Serbia and Greece. Urbig, a Bayern Munich player, is the second German goalkeeper since 1977 to achieve this feat in his opening two matches, a milestone previously reached only by Oliver Baumann last year.

Under the management of Jürgen Klopp, the German side played to a draw against Greece. While Urbig was not heavily tested by the Greek offense, which registered only two shots on target, he made key saves to preserve the clean sheet. Klopp has indicated that he will move toward a single squad list for upcoming international fixtures rather than the dual-squad approach used during the recent extended break.
