Jonatas Santos advances to second round of Transpetro board election

Jonatas Santos, a maintenance technician from the Coari Waterway Terminal, has advanced to the second round of the election for a workers' seat on the Transpetro Board of Directors. The first round of voting concluded on September 13, with results processed on September 14.

The Federation of Oil Workers (FUP) has called for continued engagement from workers during the second round, which is scheduled to take place between November 12 and November 22. FUP leadership expressed support for Santos, stating that his presence in the decision-making space of the Petrobras System is vital for representing workers and the interests of Brazilian society.
