Jonathan Majors discusses role in controversial film Run Hide Fight: Infidels
Actor Jonathan Majors has addressed his role in the controversial film ‘Run Hide Fight: Infidels’, stating that he prayed for guidance before accepting the part. Majors, who plays retired Delta Force officer Clay Saunders, noted that his faith played a significant role in his decision-making process during production.
The film, released by the Daily Wire, has faced criticism for content described by some as far-right propaganda and Islamophobic. The plot involves Islamic terrorists seizing a pro-Palestinian encampment at a liberal college and imposing Sharia law. One scene features Majors’ character claiming that Islam will conquer the West through immigration, women’s wombs, and the use of national freedoms.
Majors described the project as an opportunity for personal and artistic growth, noting that the script allowed him to engage with subject matter he did not previously understand. This production marks his first major film role following his 2023 assault and harassment convictions.
