Jonathan Reyes named new CEO of FOCUS
Jonathan Reyes has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of FOCUS, one of the world’s largest Catholic missionary and outreach organizations. Reyes is scheduled to officially assume the role on November 16, 2026.
He succeeds the organization’s founder, Curtis Martin, who announced his intention to step down in December 2025 after nearly three decades of leadership. Martin will remain involved with the organization as a board member and mentor to ensure the preservation of its original vision.
Reyes brings extensive experience in Church leadership to the position. He previously served as the Vice President of Ministry and Formation at FOCUS and most recently held the role of Senior Vice President of Communications for the Knights of Columbus. His prior professional background also includes work with the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops (USCCB), where he served in roles related to justice, peace, and human development.
