Jonesville man arrested after fire destroys four homes

A man has been arrested for aggravated arson following a fire in Jonesville, Louisiana, that destroyed four homes. Authorities state that Robert Stevenson, 45, allegedly attempted to burn one residence on Harbor Street, but the flames quickly spread to three neighboring houses.

Firefighters rescued three individuals from one of the affected homes, including two people with mobility issues. No injuries were reported. In addition to the residential destruction, two vehicles were damaged in the blaze. The Louisiana State Fire Marshal's Office has been called in to investigate the incident.
