João Campos pledges zero IPVA for ride-hailing drivers

João Campos, a candidate for the Governor of Pernambuco, met with ride-hailing drivers to discuss professional demands and state management proposals. During the meeting, Campos reaffirmed his commitment to eliminate the IPVA (Motor Vehicle Property Tax) for workers who use cars for their professional activities.

Beyond tax relief, drivers raised concerns regarding security, infrastructure, and the need for support points and technological solutions to facilitate their work. Campos stated that these discussions are essential for building his government plan, noting that direct dialogue helps identify specific needs that can be addressed with targeted public measures.
