João Félix eyes return to European Champions League

Portugal forward João Félix, currently playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, has expressed his long-term ambition to return to European football to compete in the UEFA Champions League. While expressing satisfaction with his current form and stability in Saudi Arabia, Félix indicated that a move back to Europe could occur within the next one to two seasons.

Félix also reflected on his career in Spain, stating he would have been the “greatest traitor in football” had he joined Real Madrid, instead expressing pride in his time with FC Barcelona. He noted that playing for Barcelona was a childhood dream for him and his family.

On the international stage, Félix has shown renewed form for the Portugal national team, scoring in consecutive matches against Wales and Norway. He also shared his desire to assist teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in reaching the milestone of 1,000 career goals. Meanwhile, Ronaldo remains committed to the national team, dismissing retirement rumors and stating he intends to continue contributing to Portugal under coach Jorge Jesus.
