João Guilherme adopts new dog Maria Joana

Brazilian actor João Guilherme has adopted a three-year-old mixed-breed dog named Maria Joana. The adoption took place at a pet rehabilitation and adoption center in São Paulo, where the dog was previously known as Princesa.

Guilherme already shares pet custody with his former partner, Bruna Marquezine. The couple previously adopted two dogs, Haku and Chihiro, during a trip to Japan in 2024. Following their breakup in February 2025, they have shared care of the animals, with Haku staying with Guilherme and Chihiro staying with Marquezine.
