João Pedro Pais Closes Semana do Mar Festival in Porto Moniz, Madeira

Singer‑songwriter João Pedro Pais concluded the musical programme of the Semana do Mar da Porto Moniz on 26 July, returning to Madeira after a tribute concert to Luís Jardim in Funchal. He performed his best‑known hits such as “Ninguém é de Ninguém”, “Mentira” and “Louco Por Ti”. The final night also featured Madeiran artist Petra Gomes, who presented a Latin‑infused set, and DJ João Canada closed the event.

The day included political activities at the regional Banana Fair in Madalena do Mar, with a press conference by the ABAMA association and appearances by the regional secretaries for Agriculture and Fisheries, and for Finance.
