João Pessoa road repair operation targets 36 neighborhoods
The João Pessoa municipal Secretariat of Infrastructure (Seinfra) continued its "tapa‑buraco" program, repairing potholes and cleaning drainage in 36 neighborhoods of the capital. Teams worked on Monday, 29 May and Tuesday, 30 May, starting at 8 a.m., covering areas such as Ernesto Geisel, José Américo, Água Fria, Colibris, Bancários, Mangabeira, Funcionários, Distrito Industrial, Bairro das Indústrias, Mumbaba, Castelo Branco, Jardim São Paulo, Jardim Cidade Universitária, Portal do Sol, Jaguaribe, Gramame, João Paulo II, Cuiá, Muçumagro, Cristo Redentor, Paratibe, Bairro dos Ipês, Mandacaru, Alto do Céu, Bairro dos Estados, Tambiá, Grotão, Ernani Sátiro, Planalto da Boa Esperança, Valentina Figueiredo, Jardim Veneza, Costa e Silva, Oitizeiro, Cruz das Armas, Alto do Mateus and Torre. The daily work aims to improve traffic safety and prevent winter‑season flooding. Residents can request pothole repairs, drainage cleaning, lighting and other services through the "João Pessoa na Palma da Mão" mobile app, available free on Google Play and the Apple Store.
