Winners included Luiz Francisco in the 10 km men’s race and Maria da Conceição in the 5 km women’s race.
In Fortaleza, the Chamber of Deputies held the final stage of the Circuito Bora Correr, attracting hundreds of participants. The day’s theme was innovation, and the program offered a 3 km walk, 5 km and 10 km runs, plus a kids’ “Corridinha”. Officials highlighted the event’s role in celebrating the city’s 300‑year anniversary and fostering inclusion, sustainability and public‑space use. Participants ranged from experienced athletes to first‑time runners, including wheelchair user Mariane de Sousa.
