João Pessoa gasoline price stabilizes at R$ 6.27

A comparative survey by the João Pessoa consumer protection office (Procon‑JP) found the lowest price for regular gasoline remained at R$ 6.27 per litre for cash purchases, unchanged since 10 June. The highest price rose to R$ 6.90 at two stations.

Among 111 stations surveyed on 1 July, 75 kept the same price as on 17 June, three reduced and 16 increased. Additive gasoline ranged from R$ 6.28 to R$ 6.96, while diesel S10 rose from R$ 6.18 to R$ 6.69 and diesel common from R$ 6.28 to R$ 6.39. Ethanol (alcohol) prices moved slightly higher, from R$ 4.53 to R$ 4.57, and GNV stayed near R$ 4.85‑4.86. The report also lists the cheapest stations by city zone for consumer reference.
