João Pessoa councilman proposes regulation for coastal services

In João Pessoa, Councilman Milanez Neto (MDB) has introduced a bill to regulate informal services operating along the city's coastline. The proposal, developed in conjunction with the Federal Public Ministry, aims to address long-standing conflicts involving informal workers, which the councilman describes as aggressive and involving physical violence and theft.

Additionally, the councilman is seeking information regarding the operation of electric scooters in the city. He noted that current scooter services appear to lack proper oversight and may be operating in violation of existing local laws, citing previous allegations of bribery involving scooter operators.
