João Pessoa carries out maintenance in 29 neighborhoods despite holiday

On Friday, despite a municipal holiday (ponto facultativo), the João Pessoa City Hall's Secretariat of Infrastructure (Seinfra) sent crews to work on road and drainage maintenance in 29 neighborhoods of the capital. Teams repaired potholes, cleaned and unclogged storm‑water galleries, maintained manholes and extended drainage networks in areas such as Jardim Oceania, Aeroclube, Manaíra, Centro, Cabo Branco and many others.

Seinfra uses a vehicle equipped with advanced mapping technology to scan streets, automatically generating daily work orders. Residents can request services, including pothole repair and street lighting, through the mobile app “João Pessoa na Palma da Mão,” which streamlines access to municipal infrastructure services.
