João Pessoa football club begins pursuit of Catarinense amateur title

The João Pessoa football club from Jaraguá do Sul has begun its campaign for the Campeonato Catarinense de Futebol Amador title. As the runner-up from the previous season, the team will face Bela Vista in the first leg of the quarter-finals at the João Lúcio da Costa stadium.

To strengthen the squad for this pursuit, the club has integrated nine new players, including several experienced athletes from Aliança, the current two-time champion. The return leg of the quarter-final is scheduled for September 5 in São José.
