João Pessoa fuel prices fluctuate between R$6.23 and R$6.90, Procon survey finds

The Municipal Consumer Protection Secretariat (Procon‑JP) surveyed 110 fuel stations in João Pessoa on 28 July. It reported that cash‑pay gasoline prices ranged from R$6.23 at Elesbão (Água Fria) to R$6.90 at Postos Almeida (Paratibe and Brisamar), a difference of R$0.67. Card‑pay gasoline prices varied between R$6.49 and R$6.69, while credit‑pay prices were between R$6.67 and R$6.95.

Additive gasoline stayed at a low of R$6.25, with the highest price rising to R$6.99. Diesel S10 saw its lowest price drop to R$6.59 and its highest rise to R$7.59. Regular diesel also showed a low of R$6.28 and a high of R$7.39. Ethanol (alcohol) prices hovered between R$4.57 and R$4.99, and GNV (vehicle natural gas) prices moved from R$4.86 to R$4.89.

The survey highlighted which stations offered the cheapest fuel options across the capital, providing consumers with a comparative price table.
