João Pessoa holds graduation for professional sewing and gastronomy courses

The City of João Pessoa held a graduation ceremony for a new class of students from its sewing and gastronomy courses at the Polo de Costura in Alto do Mateus. The initiative, managed by the Secretariat of Social Development (Sedes), aims to promote professional qualification, income generation, and family strengthening within local communities.

The event featured a fashion show of swimwear designed by students and the presentation of maternity kits produced during the course. Officials noted that the program is part of a broader municipal policy intended to foster autonomy and provide new professional opportunities for residents.
