João Pessoa hosts 2nd Student Art Festival

The city of João Pessoa is hosting the 2nd Student Art Festival (Fearte), an event organized by the Municipal Secretariat of Education and Culture (Sedec-JP). The festival, themed ‘Vivências estudantis entre os ecos das ruas e as vozes das escolas’, is part of the ‘(A)gosto do Estudante’ program.

Performing arts presentations commenced on Monday, the 24th, at the Ednaldo do Egypto Theater in the Manaíra neighborhood. The event features students from the Municipal Education Network, including children, adolescents, and students from Youth and Adult Education (EJA).

Education Secretary América Castro and Executive Secretary Luciana Dias attended the opening. The festival aims to promote student creativity and integrate art, culture, and education within the school environment.
