The 6th Early Childhood Art Festival (Fapi) opened at the Ariano Suassuna Theater in João Pessoa. Organized by the Municipal Secretariat of Education and Culture (Sedec), the event focused on the theme ‘The Joy of Being a Child in Brazilian Art: memories, play, and popular culture’.

During the opening, Mayor Leo Bezerra emphasized that the festival reinforces the municipal government's commitment to early childhood education by valuing art, creativity, and child agency. He noted that the initiative is part of a broader educational policy implemented since 2021, which includes investments in infrastructure, technology, and innovative pedagogy in local schools and nurseries.

The program featured performances by the Early Childhood Dance Group from the João Pessoa municipal school system, alongside a show by Palavra Cantada.
