João Pessoa hosts cultural celebrations and literary honors

The Usina Cultural Energisa in João Pessoa is hosting various cultural events celebrating the heritage of Paraíba. As part of the I Feira Literária de Cordel da Paraíba, the Sociedade Cultural Poeta Zé da Luz held a ceremony to honor its 50th anniversary. During the event, Djanira Meneses, Stela Maris Mariano, and Raquel Maia received the Troféu Violeta Formiga for their contributions to local literature and culture. Additionally, actor Chicco Mello was inducted as an effective member of the society.

The Viva Usina project continues its programming with free activities, including the launch of the album ‘Transverberar’ by singer Elon. The schedule also features theatrical performances by Millenium Circus and Grupo Efeito Prisma, as well as a visual arts exhibition by GigaBrow titled ‘Memórias de 1 Giga’, which commemorates over 32 years of artistic research.
