João Pessoa offers over 1,000 job vacancies through Sine-JP

João Pessoa is experiencing a significant surge in employment opportunities. A recent employability action organized by the City Hall, through the Secretariat of Economic Development and Labor (Sedest) and Sine-JP, offered over 240 immediate vacancies. When combined with the 836 regular positions available in the Sine-JP system, the total exceeds 1,000 job openings for various professional profiles.

The available roles span multiple sectors, including telemarketing, sales, production, construction, commerce, and services. Many positions, such as production assistants and various service roles, do not require prior experience. Educational requirements range from elementary school to higher education.

João Bosco, executive secretary of Economic Development and Labor, noted that João Pessoa has been a major driver of formal employment in Paraíba, accounting for 86% of the state's new formal jobs in the first half of 2026.
