João Pessoa hosts second stage of Copa Brasil de Paraciclismo

The second stage of the Copa Brasil de Paraciclismo took place in João Pessoa, featuring endurance races held at the Estação Cabo Branco. The event brought together 122 athletes from 17 Brazilian states, along with competitors from Paraguay and Venezuela.

Key winners included Eduardo Ramos Pimenta in the MH3 category, Jady Martins Malavazzi in the WH3 category, and Ainoam Naiara da Silva Amorim in the WT2 category. Antônio Marcos de Moura secured first place in the MH5 category.

Edilson Rocha, the Paracycling Director of the Brazilian Cycling Confederation (CBC), noted the high technical level of the competition, which included world champions and Pan-American champions. He emphasized that the endurance races are heavily dependent on athlete strategy, with some matches lasting up to two hours.
