João Pessoa hosts sports and health awareness events

João Pessoa is hosting several community events focused on sports and health. The Corrida 100% Você, an initiative by Bell Marques and his sons Rafa and Pipo Marques, returns to the city on November 1. The event features 5 km and 10 km timed courses, as well as a category for people with disabilities (PCD), with activities starting at the João Pessoa Convention Center.

Additionally, the municipal government is promoting the Remada Rosa at Bessa beach as part of the Pink October campaign. Organized by the Secretariat of Public Policies for Women in partnership with Origens VAA, the event uses Hawaiian canoeing to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention and encourage healthy lifestyles for women.
