João Pessoa hosts VG Samba Entre Amigos at Sabadinho Bom

The band VG Samba Entre Amigos is scheduled to perform at the Sabadinho Bom event in the historic center of João Pessoa. Organized by the João Pessoa Cultural Foundation (Funjope), the event will take place at Praça Rio Branco starting at 12:30 PM.

Marcus Alves, executive director of Funjope, stated that the Sabadinho Bom and similar cultural activities in the historic center are vital for both the cultural and socioeconomic development of the city. The initiative aims to strengthen municipal cultural policy by attracting people to the area, benefiting local bars, restaurants, cafes, and bookstores.

Singer Victor Gouveia expressed his honor in participating in the established event, which serves as a cultural landmark for João Pessoa. The band's repertoire includes samba classics by artists such as João Nogueira, Gonzaguinha, Martinho da Vila, and Moacyr Luz.
