João Pessoa municipal app exceeds 518,000 downloads

The municipal application ‘João Pessoa na Palma da Mão’ has surpassed 518,000 total downloads across Android and iOS platforms. Launched in September 2023 by the Secretariat of Administration (Sead), the tool is designed to modernize public management by allowing citizens to access services without visiting government offices in person.

Usage statistics show 398,000 downloads on Android and 120,000 on iOS. In the last 30 days, the app recorded 55,309 accesses on Android and approximately 51,100 on iOS.

The platform integrates various administrative sectors, including health, infrastructure, urban cleaning, social assistance, and urban development. Users can request services such as public lighting repairs, SUS Card updates, medical supplies like glucometers, and various medical exams. Additionally, the app facilitates infrastructure requests like pothole repairs, waste collection, and reporting irregular waste disposal or unmaintained land.
