João Pessoa's Seinfra conducts road, drainage and lighting repairs across 33 neighborhoods

The João Pessoa Secretariat of Infrastructure (Seinfra) scheduled a city‑wide maintenance operation on Thursday, 4 June. Teams are carrying out the "tapa‑buraco" pothole‑filling program, drainage network work to prevent flooding, and public‑lighting maintenance in 33 neighborhoods, including Tambaú, Gramame, José Américo, Centro, Mangabeira, Castelo Branco, Valentina Figueiredo, Treze de Maio, Ernesto Geisel, Muçumagro, Jardim Cidade Universitária, Altiplano, Bairro das Indústrias, Tambauzinho, Mandacaru, Cabo Branco, Ipês, Aeroclube, Bessa, Jardim Oceania, Portal do Sol and Jaguaribe. The same types of works were reported on Wednesday, 3 June covering 36 neighborhoods and on Friday, 5 June despite a municipal holiday, covering 29 neighborhoods. Seinfra uses a vehicle equipped with a mapping system that automatically registers reported potholes for daily programming. Residents can request any of these services—pothole repair, drainage cleaning, lighting or earth‑moving—through the free mobile app “João Pessoa na Palma da Mão”.
