João Pessoa police arrest two suspects in pharmacy robbery

Two suspects were arrested by the Military Police for a pharmacy robbery in the José Américo neighborhood of João Pessoa. The crime, which occurred on Monday, involved the theft of various products, including diapers and chocolates.

Following tips from local residents, tactical police located the suspects in the Vista Alegre community in the southern zone of the capital. One of the arrested individuals is a pregnant woman who police identify as the person who was armed during the robbery.

The second suspect was taken to a medical emergency unit (UPA) after being assaulted by community members prior to police arrival. According to police reports, the suspects claimed that a portion of the stolen diapers had been distributed within the community.
