João Pessoa students visit Google headquarters in São Paulo

Students from the Fenelon Câmara Municipal School in João Pessoa are visiting the Google headquarters in São Paulo. The trip serves as a reward for the Ecodevs team, which won the Environmental Hackathon organized by the João Pessoa City Hall through its Secretariat of Science and Technology (Secitec) and the Secretariat of Education and Culture (Sedec).

The Ecodevs team, composed of Lucas Emanuel, Alana Flores, Ana Carolina, Maria Clara Araújo, Wesley Silva, Layana Kathleen, and Samuel Mendonça, gained recognition for developing a technological solution focused on environmental preservation and sustainable urban development.

During the visit, students aim to explore professional environments and expand their knowledge in fields such as programming, innovation, science, and entrepreneurship. The Environmental Hackathon is part of the 'Codificar para Desenvolver' (Code) project, a partnership between Secitec, Sedec, and Funetec designed to encourage municipal students to create sustainable solutions.
