João Pessoa’s Seinfra finishes week‑long road and drainage repairs in 54 neighborhoods
The João Pessoa Municipal Infrastructure Secretariat (Seinfra) completed a week of maintenance work across 54 neighborhoods in the city. Teams from the Road and Drainage Maintenance Directorate carried out pothole repairs, cleared and de‑clogged drainage galleries to prevent flooding, and restored public lighting in multiple districts. The operations were carried out on requests submitted through the “João Pessoa na Palma da Mão” platform, addressing local residents’ needs for road safety, flood prevention and illumination.
The extensive work covered areas such as Centro, Cristo Redentor, Mangabeira, Manaíra, and many others, with crews using equipment to fill potholes, level road surfaces, and replace streetlights, aiming to improve urban infrastructure ahead of the rainy season.
