Joppolo Giancaxio hosts anti-violence awareness event

The event “Il rosso si indossa e non si versa” took place on August 7 in Joppolo Giancaxio, serving as a cultural and civic initiative to raise awareness against all forms of violence.

Directed by Maria Portella and supported by the local municipality, the program integrated art, theater, and dance to encourage community networking and collective action. The evening featured performances by the Sport Danza Movimento school and theatrical interpretations by Lia Rocco and the “La Fenice” Theater Association.

Notable contributors included the Fidapa Women's Council, represented by Antonella Attanasio, and writer/magistrate Simona Lo Iacono, who participated via digital connection. Lawyer Giuseppe Lo Dico also contributed by reading excerpts from the book "Joanna degli incanti."
