Jordan Amavi reflects on the unique culture of Olympique de Marseille

Former Olympique de Marseille defender Jordan Amavi has reflected on the unique atmosphere of the club following his five-year tenure from 2017 to 2022. Amavi noted that while he was not initially a supporter, he now understands the deep connection between the club and its fanbase, stating, “I really understand why people love OM.”

He described the club as legendary with an incredible stadium, though he acknowledged the difficulty of maintaining top European status. Regarding the club's current challenges, Amavi expressed optimism, suggesting that despite a complicated period of reconstruction, the club will recover.
