Jordan Brand announces Air Jordan 1 Low OG Día de Muertos edition

Jordan Brand is set to release the Air Jordan 1 Low OG ‘Somos Historia’ as part of its Día de Muertos collection in October 2026. The design pays homage to Mexican traditions, specifically featuring the Xoloitzcuintli, an ancestral dog breed believed in Mexica cosmology to guide souls through the underworld, Mictlán.

The sneakers utilize various shades of brown, including light chocolate and velvet brown, with teal accents. The construction incorporates a mix of textured leather and shaggy suede intended to evoke the skin of the Xoloitzcuintli. Other design elements include a woven Swoosh and details inspired by Catrina imagery.

Each pair is individually numbered out of 5,036 and will be priced at MX$3,800 (approximately $200 USD) in Mexico. It is currently unclear if the release will be available in markets outside of Mexico.
