Jordan Brand announces Air Jordan 9 retro releases

Jordan Brand has announced the return of two notable Air Jordan 9 colorways in upcoming years.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film Space Jam, the Air Jordan 9 ‘Space Jam’ is scheduled for release on September 19, 2026. The sneaker will feature a White, True Red, and Black color scheme and will be sold for $215. The release is expected to utilize an OG form to more closely match the original 1993 proportions, and it will include special Tune Squad-themed packaging.

Additionally, the Air Jordan 9 ‘Charcoal’ is expected to return in Fall 2027. This colorway, which originally debuted in 1994, features a Black, Varsity Red, and Dark Charcoal palette. Like the Space Jam release, the ‘Charcoal’ version is expected to undergo shape adjustments to align more closely with the original 1994 silhouette. The retail price is set at $215.
