Jordan Brand has announced the return of the Air Jordan 9 OG ‘Space Jam’ colorway, scheduled for release on September 19, 2026. The release is part of a celebration marking the 30th anniversary of the film ‘Space Jam’.

The sneaker features a white leather upper with black nubuck on the mudguard and collar, accented by ‘True Red’ on the Jumpman logos, tongue branding, heel ‘23’, and globe logo. For this anniversary edition, Jordan Brand has adjusted the shoe's shape to more closely resemble the original 1993 mold, a detail intended for collectors.

While the colorway originally debuted in 1993, it gained the ‘Space Jam’ nickname after Michael Jordan wore the model during training scenes in the 1996 film. The 2026 release will include special Space Jam-themed packaging. Additionally, the Air Jordan 11 ‘Space Jam’ and the ‘Green Screen’ Air Jordan 11 are expected to return as part of the anniversary festivities.
