Jordan Brand unveils Jayson Tatum 5 signature shoe

Jordan Brand has unveiled the Jordan Tatum 5, the fifth signature basketball shoe for Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum. The new model features a midfoot utility strap for enhanced containment and a 10 mm forefoot Air Zoom unit for responsiveness. It also utilizes a HART 2.0 rubber outsole with a herringbone traction pattern.

The design includes several personal elements for Tatum, such as a reimagined number 0 inspired by the St. Louis Gateway Arch and five lines on the right heel to acknowledge the scar from his previous Achilles injury. The shoe aims to reflect Tatum's mindset of maintaining control and composure on the court.

A release in China is scheduled for September 24, with a global launch to follow via the Nike SNKRS app and select retailers. The first colorway, ‘Sunrise’, is expected to launch in October.
