Jordan Carroll wins second gold for Canada at 2026 Commonwealth Games

Saskatoon‑born gymnast Jordan Carroll captured his second gold medal of the 2026 Commonwealth Games by winning the men’s pommel horse in Glasgow, Scotland. He posted a flawless 15.000 score, edging home‑favorite Reuben Ward by 0.034 points. The victory followed Canada’s earlier team‑event gold, which included teammates Félix Dolci, René Cournoyer, William Émard and Ethan Ikeda.

Carroll, a 20‑year‑old member of the Taiso Gymnastics Club and son of former Olympian diver Mary Carroll, added to a banner day for Canadian gymnastics that yielded six gold medals and a total of 17 medals, moving Canada to second place on the Games medal table behind Australia.
