Jordan De Goey declares fitness ahead of Collingwood finals clash

Collingwood player Jordan De Goey has declared himself fit and in peak form ahead of the club’s AFL wildcard match against the Western Bulldogs this Friday night. Despite recent bruising around his left eye from a heavy knock in a match against Brisbane, De Goey stated his body feels good and he is ready to contribute to the team's premiership pursuit.

The Magpies face a challenging path to the finals, having secured the ninth spot and needing to win four consecutive matches to reach the last day in September. The team will also be competing without key leaders Scott Pendlebury and Brayden Maynard, who are currently sidelined by injury.
