Jordan Henderson signs for Chelsea on free transfer
England midfielder Jordan Henderson, 36, has joined Chelsea on a two‑year contract that runs until June 2028. The deal was completed on a free transfer after his contract with Brentford was terminated, meaning Chelsea paid no fee. Henderson said the size of the club, manager Xabi Alonso and the quality of the squad made the move “a huge opportunity I couldn’t turn down”.
