Jordan Martinook brings Stanley Cup to Leduc

Carolina Hurricanes forward and alternate captain Jordan Martinook brought the Stanley Cup to his hometown of Leduc, Alberta, for a community celebration. Hundreds of fans gathered at the Leduc Recreation Centre to view the trophy and participate in the event.

Martinook is the first player from Leduc to win the Stanley Cup and bring the trophy to the community. The trophy arrived at the Edmonton International Airport on Tuesday morning before receiving an RCMP escort to Leduc. The Hurricanes secured the championship earlier this summer by defeating the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 6.
