Jordan Miller to miss significant time due to shoulder injury

Los Angeles Clippers forward Jordan Miller is expected to miss a significant portion of the upcoming season due to a left shoulder injury. Miller underwent surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff on September 6.

He is scheduled to be re-evaluated in approximately six months. If his recovery proceeds as planned, he could return to action around March, following the NBA All-Star break. However, the team may take a cautious approach to his rehabilitation, potentially sidelining him for the remainder of the season to ensure full recovery for the 2027-28 campaign.

This injury comes as a setback for Miller, who recently secured a three-year, $15.3 million contract. After showing significant growth during the 2025-26 season—averaging 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game—he was expected to take on a more prominent role within the Clippers' rotation this year.
