Jordan Orozco retains WBA Continental Gold title

Nicaraguan boxer Jordan ‘La Cobrita’ Orozco successfully defended his WBA Continental Gold bantamweight title with a sixth-round technical knockout victory over Cuba’s Yusniel Abrahante. The bout, held at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida, as part of the Project Series 2, saw Orozco face significant early challenges. Abrahante controlled the first five rounds using superior speed and mobility.

Orozco shifted his strategy in the sixth round, focusing his attacks on Abrahante’s body. The combination of strikes rendered the Cuban fighter unable to continue, resulting in a TKO. This victory extends Orozco’s professional record to 18-0, with all 18 wins coming by way of knockout.
