Jordan Spieth and other golfers struggle to sustain early career success

Professional golfers Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, and Michelle Wie West serve as examples of athletes who achieved significant success early in their careers but struggled to maintain that dominance.

Jordan Spieth, who became the youngest PGA Tour winner in 82 years in 2013 and reached world number one in 2015, has faced a prolonged period without major championship victories. His decline was marked by significant drops in driving performance and a loss of ranking in key categories such as putting and scrambling. While he secured wins at the 2021 Texas Open and the RBC Heritage, injuries and technical struggles have prevented a return to his peak form.
