Jordan U-20 football team completes preparations for Asian Cup qualifiers

The Jordan national under-20 football team has completed its preparatory phase ahead of the 2027 AFC U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Bahrain from August 31 to September 6 at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium.

Jordan is competing in Group 4 alongside Bahrain, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan. The team's preparation included several friendly matches and training camps in locations such as Turkey, Egypt, Kuwait, and Qatar. Coaches Ibrahim Hilmi and Ali Amer have utilized these matches to enhance the technical and physical readiness of the squad.

Jordan is set to begin its qualifying campaign against Tajikistan on August 31, followed by a match against Jordan on September 3, and concluding with Afghanistan on September 6. To qualify for the 2027 finals in China, teams must finish first in their respective groups or be among the seven best runners-up.
