Jordanian and Moroccan teams advance to Kings League MENA semi-finals

Three teams have secured spots in the Kings League MENA Split 1 semi-finals following the quarter-final matches held at the Coal Arena in Riyadh. Jordanian sides 3BS and Red Zone, along with Morocco’s Ultra Chmicha, emerged victorious.

In a major upset, 3BS defeated the defending champions, Saudi Arabian side DR7, in a penalty shootout after a 5-5 draw. Despite sustaining an injury during the shootout, French goalkeeper JMK remained on the pitch to make the decisive saves. Saudi international Khaled Al-Ghannam scored the President’s Penalty for DR7, but it was insufficient to prevent their elimination.

Red Zone also advanced by defeating Saudi Arabian team RA2 with a score of 5-3. In the final quarter-final, Morocco’s Ultra Chmicha secured a 7-6 victory over Egypt’s Turbo. Ultra Chmicha’s Marc Granero scored a hat-trick, eventually netting the winning goal during Matchball Mode. The match was influenced by a red card issued to Turbo midfielder Youssef El-Nabrawi in the 17th minute.

The semi-final matchups are set as 3BS will face Ultra Chmicha, while Red Zone will compete against FWZ.
