Jordanian novelist Zainab Al‑Saud and Omani writer Faiza Al‑Helmi unveil new literary works

Jordanian author Zainab Al‑Saud has published her fourth novel, “Harebat min Disney… Sira al‑Khazaf wa al‑Maharas,” through Now Publishers & Distributors in Amman. The book examines contemporary cultural and social shifts, employing the symbolism of the historic olive tree to explore questions of identity and humanity.

Omani writer Faiza bint Saeed Al‑Helmi released the short‑story collection “Marayeen,” which portrays the human dimension of the Gaza conflict. Through quiet, sensory prose, the collection follows a range of characters—doctors, mothers, children—who confront displacement, loss and memory, highlighting everyday moments that reveal both fragility and resilience.
