JORDSJUK celebrates debut album anniversary with new video

Norwegian black metal band JORDSJUK is celebrating the one-year anniversary of their debut album, ‘Naglet til livet’, with the release of a new music video for the song ‘Rottebitt’. The anniversary also includes new vinyl and CD editions of the album.

In March 2026, the band received the Spellemannpris in the Hardrock & Metal category, Norway’s most prestigious music award. This achievement places them alongside other notable Norwegian metal acts such as Dimmu Borgir and Enslaved.

The new video for ‘Rottebitt’ was filmed by photographer Jørn Veberg during the album’s release concert at the Oslo club Blå. The band, consisting of Mannevond, Renton, Sagstad, and Larsen, performs a style blending black metal, thrash, death metal, and punk, with lyrics exclusively in Norwegian. A follow-up album is planned for 2027.
