Jordyn Tyson returns to New Orleans Saints practice

New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson has been designated to return to practice following a hamstring injury. Tyson, the No. 8 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, has been on injured reserve since training camp, which prevented him from making his NFL debut.

His return to practice opens a 21-day window for the team to officially activate him. The Saints, currently holding a 2-5 record, are looking for offensive reinforcement as they prepare to return from their bye week. The team faces the Cleveland Browns in Week 9, followed by a matchup against the Carolina Panthers.

In addition to Tyson, the Saints may see the return of running back Travis Etienne Jr. and offensive tackle Kelvin Banks from injured reserve, which could bolster an offense that has struggled with consistency this season.
